The blog post is merely a brief summary of some of the highlights of the London to Paris 24 Hour trip – a longer diary will emerge in due course! I thought a photo diary would be the best medium to really show you what the event looked like!
Starting the ride outside Her Majesty’s Palace – excitement and nerves running high!
Riding into the darkness during the South Downs – keeping up a high pace courtesy of the powerhouses Jack, Sam, Shaun and Henri sitting at the front!
Arriving into the blackness of Dieppe port – a long day ahead!
Emerging from the darkness on the Avenue Verte
Completing the 50km Avenue Verte just as the sun came up to greet us!
It took a fair while for the sun to burn through the mist – it was a very cold first couple of hours!
Finally heating up and getting faster – the B4C train in fine form!
Just one of the hills we were about to encounter…
Glorious riding in the French farmlands during the afternoon!
Stood underneath the Eiffel Tower – the 175mile journey was completed in under 23 hours!
It was a phenomenal effort from every single rider in this Team. We are hugely proud of everyone’s positive attitude and character throughout this event! Special thanks must got to support car driver Finn Ryley who took the photos as well as making sure he stayed with us, feeding and watering us, and navigating London and Paris to make sure we were all ok! At the time of writing the Team has managed to raise over £5000 for 8 different charities which is an incredible effort – well done B4C L2P24 Team!
