We managed to leave much earlier on the last day after having to fix yet another puncture. After we managed somehow to miss the White Horse altogether, the sun started to poke through the clouds, which was a pleasant surprise. With the panniers off we were able to go that bit faster. The Ridgeway came to an abrupt end on the A4 outside Avebury. From there were able to cycle past the Stone Avenue and meet up with our parents in the centre of the historic town.
Finally, we would like to say a big thank you to all those people who so generously sponsored us, and especially our parents who gave up so much time to ferry us around. In the end we raised in excess of £400 for the two charities.
